During the late 1940s and through the 1950s, de Havilland Hornets offered the RAF and Royal Navy a fast, reliable and powerful close support platform. Armed with four cannon and loaded with rockets and bombs, the aircraft was ideal for combating enemy forces. The Hornet was a delight to fly and served with distinction in both services, gaining much respect from friend and foe alike. Here we see RAF Hornets attack enemy positions in Malaya.
