Lancasters at the Ready – The final preparations are underway before these Lancasters leave for yet another mission over Occupied Europe. Along with other Bomber Command aircraft, the Lancaster took the battle to the enemy. Despite sustaining heavy losses, Bomber Command aircrew at all times showed great skill, courage and sense of duty, ultimately ensuring the freedom we all enjoy today.
