On 31st October 1944, a courageous low level attack was undertaken by RAF Mosquitos of Nos. 21, 464 and 487 Squadrons on the Aarhus University, Denmark, which housed the Gestapo HQ for the whole of Jutland. The raid proved to be a success in disrupting German forces operating against resistance fighters in the country and once again demonstrated how versatile and important the Mosquito was to the Allied cause.
